This piece is a love letter to November. Growing up near the Rockies, the time of year after the leaves had fallen and before the snow felt like an empty span before the possibilities of winter. I’ve learned to appreciate the colour and decay and chill of this season.
Fallow is written in just intonation using the HEJI system. The visuals are based on nature videos played in full definitition on one axis, while using only four pixels on the other axis.
